Thank you so much for your sharing about your experience. I have a 6 months baby boy and have been going through all different advices from all best mom's. My son skin is dry and it can get itch and he can scratch to calm himself. If left unattended he can end up have wounds because of scratching. It has been so disturbing to me. I have been to baby clinics and doctors and received different options spend a lot of money. Tried this and that. I'm actually spending more time with him at home just to watch and understand him well. But I realised it is something that comes here and there and it's like it is triggered by something I'm yet to figure out whether it's weather,or the air conditioning or heat .After all is said and done I'm settling on using baby dove soap, epimax cream for junior ,I bath him with nonsense baby oil just few drops in his water and baby dove soap the whole body it seam to be ok and it has maintained after I also once used advantan steroids, mycotal creame etc. But thank you for sharing.

This was so helpful! My 2 year old has eczema and we just switched to using Dove bar soap for exactly the reasons you mentioned. I have to try that probiotic breakfast recipe!

This post is very informative. I think parents need to read this as it contains so many useful information to deal with this issue. I didn’t know that we should be moisturizing baby skin 4 times a day! It’s a lot of work, but I guess if it helps to alleviate the issue, it should be done!
