I have a 1 bedroom baby crib is in my room. I would love recommendations on how I would do this at night. I give up so easily when my baby cries. She is 5 months and thinking of trying this method. She is exclusively nursed.

What do you do if you can’t console your baby at check ins? My son will not settle down even after I come in to check on him. He is relentless and refuses to sleep until he he’s nursed and rocked to sleep each time. This goes for naps and bed time.

Thank you so much for your sharing about your experience. I have a 6 months baby boy and have been going through all different advices from all best mom's. My son skin is dry and it can get itch and he can scratch to calm himself. If left unattended he can end up have wounds because of scratching. It has been so disturbing to me. I have been to baby clinics and doctors and received different options spend a lot of money. Tried this and that. I'm actually spending more time with him at home just to watch and understand him well. But I realised it is something that comes here and there and it's like it is triggered by something I'm yet to figure out whether it's weather,or the air conditioning or heat .After all is said and done I'm settling on using baby dove soap, epimax cream for junior ,I bath him with nonsense baby oil just few drops in his water and baby dove soap the whole body it seam to be ok and it has maintained after I also once used advantan steroids, mycotal creame etc. But thank you for sharing.

Very rightly covered that when the child is ready for the bed. But there are really certain signs that your toddler is not ready for a kid bed<a / rel="nofollow ugc">. We have to be very careful in selecting that. If you can cover them and add more to our knowledge. Thanks

In reply to Rebecca.

Hi Rebecca,
Try to wait a few minutes before you go in and console your baby. Try to keep the lights low and just gently pat for a few seconds and then leave the room. Progressively increase your check in time. Hope this helps!
